There you rest
I found you where you rested, exausted
Flowers along the edge of the sky
Memories into feathers
Feathers into a tree
Under the tree you waited patiently in your sleep
As everything out there is scorching and blazing
Butterfly gone cold for the dark of the night
Resting at the chilly fingers of the honeysuckle
Such a brief that the warmth had been
They did grew,
A tuft of daisies
Where the finger broke at the end
Inscribed with your name
Ashes ashes
They rose up from where they extincted the past year
Funeral in April
Honeysuckles and daisies
Winds, speaking nothing of sorrow
Led the flowers down to cover the ground
I kneeled beside you
And kissed your blood and your soul
